Prescriptions

If the GP has put your medication on to a ‘repeat’ prescription this can be ordered via the Website if you have registered for an EMIS Access account (please speak to a receptionist if you would like more information on this), by bringing your repeat prescription slip into the surgery or by telephoning the Prescription Ordering Direct (POD) Service on 02476-246025 between 9:00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Monday to Friday or coventrywarwickshireccg.nhs.uk/health-services/your-local-services/prescription-ordering-direct/.

In all cases please allow 2 working days for your prescription request to be dealt with and ensure you have sufficient medication to last, especially over week-end and Bank Holiday periods.

Please ring the surgery after 10am Monday to Friday to discuss, amend or order as we are busy taking calls for appointments from 8am.

Please select the items off the list that you require and allow 48 hours for this to be processed. Please remember to include a stamped addressed envelope if posting and indicate if your prescription is to be collected from the surgery or sent to one of the local pharmacies. Please remember to renew your prescription well before your existing medication runs out. It is advisable to use the same pharmacy on each occasion as this helps to avoid any confusion.

Repeat prescriptions can only be taken over the phone by contacting the POD – 02476-246025. Allowances will be made for the over 70’s and the housebound.
